Welcome to ESF European Mixed Team U15 & U17 Squash Championships 2023 website   

All the important information regarding the tournament will be published here. As the tournament is getting closer there might be some updates to previously published information. Please watch this space for any news and updates. 

Venues

We are using 2 venues - Hector and Infinit STEP.

First two days (pool stage) all U17 ties will be played in Hector. 1 court in Hector will be used for U15 ties as well. All the other U15 ties will be played in STEP. 

In the knock-out stage the ties for higher positions (all 1-8 plus some more) in both categories will be played in Hector. Lower positions will be played in STEP

Hotel

We are using hotel Don Giovanni which is not too far from either of the venues. Metro station Želivská is right next to the hotel so the connection into the city center is also very easy.    

Schedule

The tournament will start on Thursday at 9:45 with a short opening ceremony in Hector. The first ties will be played from 10:00. Next ties will start at 12:00, 14:00, 16:00 and 18:00. Same schedule will apply for Friday and Saturday. On Sunday there will be a sooner start at 9:00 and next ties will be played at 11:00 including U15 final and 3rd place match. At 13:00 U17 final and 3rd place match will start. 

Seedings and draws

Seedings and draws are published on esf.tournamentsoftware.com. 

We are working on the schedule of ties and this will be published within next few days.

Food

Food will be served in Hector for all participants. The lunch will be served from 12:00 to 15:00 and dinner will be served from 17:30 to 20:30. It starts with the Thursday´s dinner and finishes with Sunday´s lunch. Players will get meal vouchers for food.  

Transport

There will be buses going regularly between hotel and all venues. The transport will start at 15:45 on Wednesday. The schedule is here and will be displayed in both venues and in the hotel lobby as well. 

Airport transport

Those with Hotel/Food packages which inlclude airport transport will be picked up at the airport and taken to the hotel. There will be someone waiting for people at the airport with Squash sign. They will meet everybody and help them to their cars or buses. If you can´t see them when you walk out of the airport, please just wait there or text Eva Fertekova (+420724788959). They will be around and will show up quickly. If you know your flight is delayed before your departure from home, please let us know about this (Eva Fertekova again). If you are delayed at the airport in Prague for example because of your luggage, please let us know as well. 

Streaming

There will be live streaming from the main court in Hector centre (court no. 2) and from one court at STEP (court no. 1) during the whole tournament. Referees

There are going to be qualified referees to referee all the matches of the tournament.
